Job Description
|
The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
The International Tax Manager is responsible for all aspects of domestic tax compliance in all EMEA AND Asia Pacific
countries. Assists the Tax Director with International matters as they arise in these regions. Supervises sales tax issues resolution, prepares or assists with the preparation of all local country tax returns, regularly analyzes the EMEA
And Asia Pacific tax balance sheet accounts, assists Manager with the EMEA and Asia Pacific tax provision analysis and services as consultant within the company on various tax matters.
Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Generate forecasts by entity for both regions and assistance of local controllers.
Calculate withholding tax accrual
Assist with Sarbanes Oxley compliance
Manage Treasury documentation process and assist with other Treasury matters that must be handled in local time zone.
Manage tax audits for both EMEA AND Asia Pacific.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance: CPA highly desirable
Minimum of 5 years experience in a tax role
Experience in public accounting firm or high-tech/software industry highly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CORP-Tax software, CORP-Tax Calendar and Lotus Notes a plus.
Broad International tax compliance experience
Specific exposure to either EMEA or Asia Pacific required
VAT expertise is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and ability to interface with senior management.
