Job Description
|
The ideal candidate will assist the Director of International Tax in the planning and implementation of US and non-US tax planning projects. Responsibilities will include reviewing the calculation of foreign tax credits; reviewing the annual filing of Form 1042 (Annual Withholding Tax Return for U.S. Source Income of Foreign Persons); supporting annual filing of Form 5471 (Information Return of U.S. Persons with Respect to Certain Foreign Corporations) working with outsourcing team; prepares Form 5471 using CorpTax for dormant foreign entities; and assist with other special projects within the tax department.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance with minimum six to seven years in tax accounting in private industry of which three to four years are with a Big Four accounting firm with US federal and international tax experience. Masters in Taxation or CPA preferred. Candidate must have knowledge of CorpTax software and be computer proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and willing to work overtime with the ability to multi task. The ability to work independently with strong communication and organizational skills is essential.
