Job Description
|
Responsibilities:
1. Support the VP of International Tax in the areas of tax strategy, structuring and planning.
2. Manage the international aspects of US tax reporting, including FAS 109 calculations and tax projections.
3. Provide guidance on local jurisdiction tax matters, including tax policy & reporting, audits, including guidance with VAT other non-income tax matters.
4. Manage inbound and outbound withholding tax reporting.
5. Proactive dialog with international and domestic finance teams, including legal, business development and HR departments, advocating tax policy and strategy.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
*At least five to eight years of advanced international tax experience and broad knowledge of the following:
- US and Non-US tax issues. This includes Europe, Asia and Latin America.
- Foreign tax credit and cash repatriation planning.
- FAS 109, tax forecasts and earnings & profits studies.
- VAT and other non-income tax issues.
* Strong interpersonal skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent tax research skills.
- Interact effectively with the management team, corporate partners and members of the tax department.
- Ability to clearly communicate goals and motivate internal and external constituents with confidence.
- A superior work ethic and a dedication to the highest work quality and job excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity and accountability.
* CPA/MS Taxation or JD/LLM.
* Media / entertainment industry background helpful.
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
