The Global Trade Operations Group is responsible for middle office support for US/Non-US Equity, Foreign Exchange, OTC and Exchange-traded Derivatives and Fixed Income asset classes. The group is the primary point of contact in the post-execution trade process, working with numerous internal and external parties. We work closely with our clients in addition to the broker/dealer community to ensure the flow of information is timely and accurate when sent downstream to internal and external accountants and custodians.
Primary Responsibilities
• Manage a diverse team responsible for providing middle office support for products including but not limited to US and Non-US denominated corporate debt, mortgage backed securities, high yield debt, and various securitized products.
• Directly responsible for the recruitment and development of team members, including training, setting of key objective and formal performance reviews.
• Ensure the team has the required skills and expertise to support all business areas.
• Oversee the allocation and coordination of workflow.
• Ensure all objectives, deadlines and quality control measures are met.
• Develop strong understanding of internal processes and procedures in how we support the fixed income product.
• Build relationships with other teams, clients, custodians and the broker/dealer community.
• Primary client contact and internal liaison with other Bank groups.
• Conduct review of key inputs to the investment process.
• Adheres to Bank’s policies and procedures as it is related to financial controls.
• Support senior team member’s activities including investment process design, identifying process improvements, development of metrics and oversee implementation of new products and/or services.
Qualifications
• BS Degree
• Minimum 3 years supporting fixed income operational processes in the investment management industry.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team providing middle office support.
• Dedicated team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills
