Job Description
|
Director of Accounting
Primary responsibilities include internal and external reporting
for Accounting for Income Taxes under FAS 109, the income tax
provision process, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley
Section 404 requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidates will bring and demonstrate the following qualifications:
Bachelor degree in accounting required
CPA designation required
Masters degree in taxation or accounting preferred (or working toward one)
Five or more years of management experience including personnel supervision
Minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibility in corporate tax
accounting at a major public accounting firm and/or large
multi-state corporation required
Solid and proven technical proficiency of FAS 109 Accounting for
Income Taxes in a multi-entity structure coupled with
Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 requirements
