Sr. Tax Accountant
Our company is, a leading Product Lifecycle Management software company, is looking to fill a Senior Tax Accountant position in its expanding Tax Department. The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of the Company's state and federal tax administration and compliance. Responsibilities include assisting with the US corporate income tax return and state income tax return preparation and processing, preparation of quarterly income tax accrual schedules and reconciliations; preparation and filing of quarterly estimated income tax payments; assisting the Tax Managers with the quarter-end and year-end financial close; assistance with tax audits and research. Other responsibilities will include, aiding in the domestic aspects of quarterly FAS109 computations, complying with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements and other special tax projects as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting, at least 3-5 years as a member of a large corporate and/or Big 4 tax department and experience with US tax compliance. The candidate should be organized, have strong analytical skills, be able to communicate effectively, and possess strong interpersonal skills. The candidate should be self-motivated and possess strong accounting, and PC skills (Oracle, CorpTax, MS Excel, Word preferred). CPA and MST (or MST Candidates) preferred.
